Bio: I’ve played trombone for about ten years in concert ensembles, jazz band, marching band, and pep band, and I’m super excited to be here and continue playing. In my free time I like to listen to music, read, and spend time with my pets & plants.

Favorite BU Bands memory: My favorite band memory is one marching band rehearsal where we ran drill in a downpour (no, seriously). Before rehearsal began, I had shared a video with the low brass (or the trombubatones, if you will) of a Lady Gaga concert where you can hear an audience member scream in a way that sounds like Toad from the Mario universe. Everyone in the section spent that entire rehearsal doing that Toad scream. I’ve never laughed harder in my life. I’d say a huge rainstorm generally isn’t the ideal weather for marching band, but the rain didn’t matter too much to me because I was having all the fun in the world with my band friends.
