Hometown: Summerville, South Carolina

Bio: Hi, I’m Brett Lavelle! I’m a junior studying Film and TV as well as Classical Civilizations. I have been a part of BU Bands since I started college, participating in Pep Band for two years on the drum set and Marching Band for a year and a half on snare. I’ve been drumming in some capacity for five years, and a lot of my free time is spent practicing or jamming. When I’m not drumming, you can find me skateboarding or playing games with my friends. Favorite BU Bands memory: My favorite BU Bands memory is when the Men’s Basketball team won the Patriot League last year. I was one of 13 band members that traveled five hours on a bus to play for the game. Traveling with fellow band members, playing during the game, and celebrating after the team won are all unforgettable memories from my time in the Pep Band.
