Short Bio: Hi! I’m currently a junior studying music education in CFA. The first instrument I learned was the clarinet in 4th grade and from there I picked up the bass clarinet, saxophones, and the bassoon. My favorite ensembles throughout high school were pit orchestra (because musicals) and marching band. I am involved in Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensembles in addition to being the marketing coordinator here at BU Bands so needless to say I really enjoy the BU Bands program! When I’m not at rehearsal or a game you’ll probably find me in a practice room in CFA or seeing Waitress for the 19th time (and counting). Fair warning, if you mention Hamilton in front of me I will totally sing through the entire musical.
Favorite thing about BU Bands: The thing I love the most about being a part of BU Bands is that we all come from such diverse backgrounds but at the end of the day we are all here because we love making music. Whether you’ve been playing an instrument for years or this is your first year involved in band you’ll have an amazing time here in the BU Bands program! One of the best decisions I’ve made since coming to BU was joining marching band and pep band my first semester because of all of the amazing people I met here. Oh and watching our women’s ice hockey team win the Beanpot in 2019 was pretty great too :)
