Shruthi Sudhakar

Hometown: Waltham, MA

Short Bio: Hi! I am a senior in CAS majoring in French Studies. My primary instrument is flute but I also play piano! This will be my second year as pep band flute section leader and I am thrilled to meet all of the new band members! I am also currently serving as the President of BU’s Eta Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, a co-ed band service Sorority that we have on campus. Outside of band, I love spending time in the Geddes language centre, as I’m currently learning 7 languages and hope to add more! Come chat with me about my biggest passions: travel, cats and chocolate :) I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have about classes, band or life! 

Favorite thing about BU Bands: the people. I love that I have a family here that will be by my side for the rest of my life! I also love seeing people smile and dance when we play- music truly brings people together, and it’s amazing being able to bring joy to people’s lives while doing something we are very passionate about.
