Michael Barsano

Michael Barsano is a higher education arts administrator. He began working at Boston University in October of 2006. He has held the positions of Senior Staff Assistant (BUMO), Program Administrator (BUMO), Manager of University Ensembles, and in March 2016 he became Director of University Ensembles. Michael attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he received a BFA.

Having been involved with band programs for most of his life, Mr. Barsano brings a wealth of experience to the School of Music and University Ensembles program. Outside of work, Michael has worked with many performing arts groups in the Northeast.
