Bailey Cowart

Hometown: Huntsville, Alabama

Short Bio: I’m a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying biology, and I’ve been playing alto sax since 6th grade. I’m from Huntsville, Alabama and though I don’t have an accent, I do have really strong opinions about what real lemonade should taste like. I enjoy just chilling outside and can often be found around BU’s campus laying in my hammock reading a book, studying, or pointing out dogs that walk by. I also love making jokes and cheering on BU’s various sports teams, often at the same time.

Favorite thing about BU Bands: My favorite part of being in the BU bands is the sense of community it helps create. It’s great way to meet people from all kinds of different majors, and really helped me adjust to college life and feel like I had a group of people I could ask for help whenever I needed. Also it’s just mad fun- like how one time I made Aaron Goldberg laugh when I said I didn’t know how to read.
