Abby Kelley

Hometown: Bernard, Maine

Short Bio: Hi! I’m from Mount Desert Island, a small island off the coast of Maine, where Acadia National Park is located.  I first started playing the flute in fourth grade and picked up the saxophones (alto, tenor, and bari) in sixth grade, and in high school, I made All State three years in a row.  At BU, I’m a junior studying Political Science and Public Relations.  I love getting to know people (please don’t be scared by me yelling at hockey games)!  If you ever have any questions about adjusting to life in Boston after living in a small town, getting to know Boston, or any BU questions, reach out!  I’m also always down to get a steak and cheese at T. Anthony’s and chat.

Favorite thing about BU Bands: Meeting new people and making new friends.  I know it sounds corny, and that your first couple of rehearsals can be super intimidating, but I have found some of my best friends at BU through the BU Bands program.
